After working with children since I was a child myself, I knew I wanted to work in the classroom.  I originally went to school to be an elementary school teacher, but after spending some time in a resource/inclusion classroom I knew that is where I was meant to be.  I identified with those students and wanted to be that person that could hopefully make a difference in their lives.  I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master of Science in Special Education.  My husband and I have a dog, and we are getting ready to welcome a new family member this year.
