What an exciting time to be a Lanier Eagle! I have had the privilege to teach at LES for many years. Although I did not grow up in this area I feel blessed to be a part of this community.  I graduated from Carson-Newman University with a B. A. in Psychology and a B. S. in Child and Family Studies.  After working in the social work field for several years I decided to explore the field of education.  I received my Masters of Education and certification through LMU and got my first teaching job at Greenback School.  After working several years I decided to further my education by completing my Ed. S. through LMU as well.  My husband is the pastor at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. My three wonderful children were academically successful due to Blount County Schools. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of Blount County Schools and the Lanier community. Go Eagles!
